“Before learning about ABCD, it was difficult to manage daily activities and crops like tomatoes and coffee. Pesticides can be very expensive, and we had to struggle to tend to crops everyday.
After the training, I chose poultry as a main activity based on time and space constraints. We mainly used to raise local dairy animals. But then I did some research, and looked at the market, and changed to poultry. I learned to use locally available breeds that I can improve here at home.
Some time later, we also started tree planting and bee keeping on our land. We can easily manage our daily activities now, and have had time to start new ones.”
